Dear Parishioner,
The Sacred Liturgy is the heart of parish life. At every Mass, we gather as the Body of Christ to worship God, hear His Word, receive the Eucharist, and be sent out to live as disciples.

Liturgical ministries help our parish celebrate the Mass with reverence, beauty, hospitality, and care. These ministries are not simply tasks to be filled. They are acts of service offered to God and to the parish community.   If you are looking for a meaningful way to serve, grow in faith, and become more involved in parish life, we invite you to prayerfully consider one of our liturgical ministries.

Below is the ideal minimum number of ministers for each Mass (Saturday or Sunday), so that each person may need to serve only once per month.

• Altar Server - 5
• Lector - 5
• Gift Bearer - 5
• Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion - 20
  • If not a current EMHC, please speak with Fr. Garcia prior to signing up.
• Usher/Greeter - 5
• Sacristan - 3
• Cantor/Musician - need additional, please share your musical talents
• Coffee Host - 5 teams
• Offertory Counters - 12 people for Monday and 12 for Sunday. Sign up using either the 4:30pm or 9:30am link, not both.

Scheduling of Ministries & Distribution of Schedules
Karla Jacobs (KarlaJacobs81650@gmail.com or 970-948-1179) oversees scheduling of the nine ministries on a monthly basis. Notice is given in the bulletin as to when she needs requests to serve/not serve for the upcoming month.  If you have a year-round scheduling consideration, please REPLY to this email with that information. Example:  'I am a Knights of Columbus, please don't schedule as usher same day as pancake breakfast'.

Completed schedules are distributed electronically via Flocknote and includes information regarding the next month’s schedule. Printed copies are also available from the rack near the elevator.
